Under the general direction of the CVET Associate Director of Logistics, this position supports CVET activities in the Logistics Section (e.g., mobile equipment deployment and transport, maintenance and repair, supply management and distribution, base of operation facility management and supporting incident safety operations) during disaster response, typically at animal shelters and/or staging areas. During non-emergency periods, works collaboratively with the CVET Management Team to ensure response supply caches and equipment are maintained in a constant state of readiness. This includes asset procurement; resource management and maintenance; repair, update and enhancement of equipment; creation of operating guidelines for equipment and mobile resources; and assistance with CVET trainings and presentations.
