County animal services and animal response organizations throughout California provide such an invaluable service of caring for animals during a disaster. And sometimes the full extent and impact of these organizations is not able to be fully recognized! CVET would like to gather information and data regarding animal response operations to better understand the current operations, where additional support may be needed, and how to improve in the future. With enough information gathered, this data will be collected and reported to the state to further support the ongoing efforts of California’s animal response operations.
